    On October 27, 2020, the seminar “Museums for Environmental Sustainability” will take place at the Latvian National Museum of Art and will be available live at https://www.facebook.com/ThinkTankCreativeMuseum.

    The seminar is organised in cooperation with the think tank “Creative Museum”, the Latvian Museum Association, the Latvian Museum Collection Specialists Group and the Latvian National Library in connection with the museum education program “Museums for Sustainable Development of Latvia”.

    The seminar is organized in three parts: the first is dedicated to some examples of good practice in Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden and Great Britain, the second and third - to the situation in Latvia.

    The seminar organisers are by a group of specialists from the Latvian Museum Collection in cooperation with the think tank Creative Museum. The seminar is supported by State Cultural Capital Fund, Northern Dimension Cultural Partnership Secretariat (NDPC), Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia, Latvian National Museum of Art.
